Interior Lights

Ok I was thinking of upgrading the interior light in the VEE HAYCH

Is it possible to get a higher power bulb without blowing out all the old electrics and setting fire to my car or is it a massive rewire job? MAYBE I SHOULD GET NEONS.

Dont forget, the only thing that will blow if your power is wrong is the fuse. So just try it out. other wise, try a smaller fuse, but that might blow up a bit more.

nah dont worry about that brown, you can get light bulbs that are all made up of leds and they are actually quite good, dont know about price shouldnt cost very much at all. Otherwise you could just put in a higher wattage light bulb. Do you have the SL/E map lights?

What that super interior light thing that has like map lights or whatever? That'd be sick man

yep, I bought a new one, the old one I still have the chrome is a bit fished bit its not too bad, cannot get a pic as its in the vh center console, but yeah you can have it. Another thing you could get are the rear interior lights that go in the c pillars, they look really awesome aswell

They only came in some SL/E's, they were an option, Pretty sure you can get them on ebay

Nah I was thinking I might swap some brown outta a newer commodore. The VZ has a cool system with two above the rear doors. Dunno I'd have to mock one up to see how it'd fit.

but yeah there are no rear courtesy lights on ebay at the moment
